The Maker
Stephanie began making jewellery in 2016 after the birth of her son, devoting every minute of spare time to her practice and gifting her creations to friends and family.
In 2018, Stephanie opened her website and started offering a made-to-order service, where clients could choose personalised pieces of jewellery. Over time, Stephanie had many requests to create jewellery holding cremation ashes, hair & fur - and today mourning jewellery is where she specialises, encapsulating loved one’s remains into wearable pieces of art in their memory.
Stephanie’s dedication to this niche art form has amassed admiration and respect from her followers who appreciate the beauty and significance of her one-of-a-kind pieces. She enjoys connecting with her clients and learning about the stories and people behind the jewellery she creates.

Each piece that leaves Heavy Heart Jewellery has been designed and created by Stephanie in her home-based studio in Worcestershire. As a one-woman show, Stephanie can offer a personal service from start to finish - and each piece of jewellery gets 100% of her care and attention.
Hand-fabricating, wax carving, 3D modelling, finishing and stone setting… Stephanie utilises a number of different skills to make the pieces in her design collection.

When ordering a piece of mourning jewellery, Stephanie will provide a Collection Kit for your inclusions - understanding how precious and irreplaceable they are, and treating them with meticulous care and attention to detail from the moment they arrive with her.
Mourning jewellery is created individually and each piece has it’s own dedicated drawer, so they can be kept separately and there is no risk of cross contamination.
